The century of the self

This documentary, even though it’s 4 hours in total length, kept me seated until the very end. To realise something you kinda knew all along. I get it with the whole “economy creates wealth for society” idea. The big problem I have with “neuro marketing” is that the same manipulative mechanisms are applied to politics and doesn’t that undermine the idea of democracy?
